Hi! I'm David Harmanos

I am running for the Owen J. Roberts School District Board of Directors.

• My wife Karen and I have three daughters who have been at OJR schools since 2007. My oldest graduated; one is in high school and one is in middle school.

• I have been practicing as a professional engineer in Southeast Pennsylvania for over 25 years

• previously served on the Board of Directors at Charlestown Playhouse, a Pre-K cooperative school, for seven years, and served as treasurer for four.

• I have 14 years of experience teaching elementary children in Sunday school and seven years teaching adults for continuing education credits.

• I served as a regional coordinator for the USA Climbing organization for youth competitive rock climbing for seven years.

• I earned a BS and MS from Drexel University.

• I was an NCAA Division 1 Athlete in Track and Cross County
